THE TRINITY
One God Revealed in 3 Ways.
1 John 5:7 - "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost, and these three are one".

First of all, the word "trinity" is a theological term and not a word which you will find in the Bible.
God said in Genesis 2:26 "...let us make man in our own image, after our likeness...".
Just as God is a trinity, man is also similar to a trinity, for example:
We are made of three parts; our physical body, our communication (our thoughts made known), and our spirit (our soul), but we have one identity.
Just as we have three parts which make up our identity, so does God.
God's three parts are the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.  All three parts are one and each part has a different function.
Keep in mind that we are only human, and while we may know God, we may never truly understand the structure of God.  Humans are limited to the will of God, but God has no limits except that he cannot deny himself, he cannot contradict himself, and he cannot lie (See Titus 1:2, Hebrews 6:18, and 2 Timothy 2:13).

Before we look at each part of God, here is biblical evidence of the Trinity:
1 John 5:7 says, "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost, and these three are one" (KJV).

Genesis 2:26 says, "And God said, let us make man in our own image, after our likeness....".

Genesis 11:7 says, (concerning when the people of one language who built the tower of Babel) "Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech".

The Father
The Father is in Heaven.  Before God came to Earth in the form of his son Jesus (after sin was introduced to the world, because the Word (Voice of God) visited Adam and Eve before sin), he communicated to people in the form of dreams, angels, and visions.  The people who God sent messages to through dreams and visions were called prophets.
Hebrews 1:1 says, "God who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets".

The Son (The Word)
Jesus (the Word).
The Bible says in John 1:14  "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth".

Jesus is the Voice of the Lord:  Genesis 3:8 says " And they (Adam and Eve) heard the Voice of the Lord walking in the garden in the cool of the day...".

John 1:1 says, " In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God".

At the second coming, Revelation 19:13, says about Jesus:  "And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood:  and his name is called The Word of God".

The Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost)
The Holy Spirit is the part of God which empowers Christians.
Here is some of what the Holy Spirit gives to Christians (functions of the Holy Spirit):
Counsel and advice- see John 14:15-31
Discernment- see Romans 9:1
Righteous Knowledge- see Romans 8:26
God living in us- see Romans 8:9
Assurance of Salvation- see Romans 8:16
Direction and Guidance- see Romans 8:14
Freedom- see Romans 8:2
Fulfillment- see Ephesians 5:18
Spiritual Gifts- see 1 Corinthians chapter 12
Identifies Christians through the "Fruit of the Spirit"- see Galatians 5:18-26

The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are one God.

What is God’s name?

What name did God tell Moses to use?
God calls himself “I Am” (see Exodus 3:13-14).

God said that he is to be remembered as “The Lord” from generation to generation (Exodus 3:15).

Jehovah, the Hebrew translation of “The Lord,” was what the Israelites called God.  Since we speak modern English, a modern translation of Jehovah will read as “The Lord” in a modern translation of the Bible.  Jehovah (Yehovah) is the Jewish National name of God.

The name Jehovah is not the name of God, but is a name of God.  The name of God will obviously change from language to language, but which ever language a person speaks, the translation of Jehovah will mean “The Lord” in that language.

Is Jesus God?

In a dream, the angel told Joseph that the Holy Spirit would cause Mary to conceive a child and to name him Jesus.  He shall be called Immanuel which means “God with us”. (Matthew 1:18-25).  The prophet Isaiah spoke of Immanuel (see Isaiah 7:14).

Not enough to prove Jesus is God?  Keep reading......

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  The same was in the beginning with God.  All things were made by him, and without him was not anything made that was made” (John 1:1-3 NIV).

Note: “The Word was God.”  Keep in mind that God does not change; he is the Alpha, Omega, beginning, and the end (Revelation 21:6).

So again, who is the Word?

“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father) full of grace and mercy” (John 1:14 NIV).

Note: “The Word was made flesh!”

Again, who is the Word?

Speaking of Jesus at his second coming,  “....and his name is called the Word of God” (Revelation 19:13 NIV).

Note:  Jesus is also called the “Word of God”.
In Revelation 19:16, Jesus is called the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Since Jesus is the Lord of Lords, Joshua 2:11 says “...for the Lord your God is in heaven above and on the earth below”.

Also, Deuteronomy 4:39 says, “Acknowledge and take to heart this day that the Lord is God in heaven above and on the earth below” (NIV).

Romans 8:38 says, “....will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Note:  Jesus is the Lord of Lords and the Lord is our God.  Remember, the English translation of Jehovah is “The Lord”; therefore, since Jesus is the Lord of Lords, and since Jehovah translates to “The Lord,” Jesus and Jehovah is the same God.

Still not enough to help you believe?

Hebrews 1:8 says, “But unto the Son he (God) saith, Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever...”

Note: Who is God calling God?

Hebrews 1:6 says, “And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten in to the world, he (God) saith, And let all the angels of God worship him”.

Note:  God is a jealous God (see Exodus 20:5).  Would God approve of any of his creation to worship anything or anyone other than himself?

Phillippians 2:5-7 says, “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus; who being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men....” (NIV).

Note:  Who is equal with God? (equal means “the same”).  Out of love, God made himself low like men through Jesus (John 3:16).

In John 10:30, Jesus said, "I and the Father are one" (NIV).

Remember who God told Moses to say who sent him? (see Exodus 3:13-14)
In John 8:58, Jesus said, "I tell you the truth...before Abraham was born, I AM!" (NIV).

Is the Holy Spirit God’s Spirit or a force of God?

The Hebrew word "ruwach" translates to "spirit"- not "force".  If your Bible translates "ruwach" to "force" in Genesis 1:2, beware; you have a perverted translation of the Bible.

In a sentence, a force would be referred to as an “it,” but the Lord our God (Joshua 2:11) who is Jesus the Lord of Lords (Revelation 19:16) refers to the Holy Spirit as “He”- not “it.”

Jesus calls the Holy Spirit “The Comforter” and says “he (Holy Spirit) shall testify of me” (John 15:26).

Is a force a living thing?  But, God’s Spirit lives in believers (see Romans 8:11).
The Bible clearly reveals that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God who lives in believers.

Calling the Holy Spirit a force somewhat parallels the New Age ideology which is clearly evident in the fictional Jedi religion in the movie “Star Wars”.  Remember the Jedi saying “May the force be with you”.  Let us be thankful that we have “The Comforter” who is the Holy Spirit, and not a “Holy Force,” which does not sound very comforting.  But we have “God with us” (Immanuel) through Jesus, and he lives in us as the Holy Spirit.

Cults and the anti-christ spirit try to attack the Trinity
But they will fail!
Hebrews 4:12 says, "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart".

Jehovah's Witnesses have already failed in their attack.
They teach that Jesus was once Michael the Archangel....WRONG!

Look at what the Bible says about Jesus in Hebrews 1:2-6
"Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.  For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee?  And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?  And again he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him".

In the verse below, Jehovah's Witnesses say that "us" refers to God and the Angels.
Genesis 2:26 says, "And God said, let us make man in our own image, after our likeness....".

Angels are created beings...they are not creators themselves; therefore, J.W's. are definitely wrong.
To make the verse even come close to working with J.W.doctrine, it would have to read:
...let me make man in our image, after our likeness...
But this is not what the Bible says!
God has warned of what will happen to anyone changing the Bible:
Revelation 22:18-19 says, "For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book (the Bible), If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues which are written in this book:  And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book".
