What kind of evangelist are you?
Did you know that you are an evangelist? The question
is: Who do you work for? Just because you are a Christian does not
necessarily mean that you are a Christian evangelist. Who we imitate
determines who we evangelize for? Ephesians 5:1 commands Christians
to be imitators of Christ. Are you a defender of your Christian brothers
and sisters or an accuser of your Christian brothers and sisters?
We have a choice. We can be imitators of Christ, the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6), or we can be imitators of Satan, the Accuser of the Brother (Revelation 12:10). It is Satan's work to accuse Christians, so if we accuse each other, we are evangelists of Satan. If we are peacemakers (James 3:18), we are evangelists for God.
Ephesians 4:3 NIV tells us, "Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace."
Which of the following do you imitate? (see the 2 images below).
